Schools often operate with tight IT budgets, and families under financial strain simply can’t afford new devices. Meanwhile, millions of usable devices are discarded every year, contributing to growing e-waste and environmental harm.

We believe there’s a better way - By repurposing and reusing IT equipment, we reduce waste, extend the life of valuable technology, and provide students with the tools they need to thrive. It’s a sustainable solution to a social problem, and it’s at the heart of everything we do.

We are Blackmore IT, an established IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) business with 27 years of experience. We work closely with education facilities, charities, and communities to bridge the gap between digital access, environmental impact, and educational inclusion.

Through our partnership with Donate IT, we’ve seen firsthand how vital it is that everyone has equal access to reliable devices, whether at school or at home. We understand the financial barriers schools and families face in acquiring and maintaining technology.

As an ITAD, we collect and divert over 180,000 devices from landfill every year, with 47% of those being refurbished for reuse! We’re proud partners of the Digital Poverty Alliance and signatories of the Charter for Digital Inclusion.
